Can I change my username or profile picture?

Yes. Go to the Profile tab to update either at any time.

How do I add a wallet?

• If you are creating an Access ID on BitRobot for the first time, you can:
  Import subnet accounts via “Email Address”, “Add a Wallet” or “Discord” to link all the accounts associated with other subnets

• In the “Add a Wallet” module, eligible subnets for Bolts conversion will already be available as a choice in the dropdown. Click on the subnets that apply and link your account by using the email or Discord account associated with your subnet account. You will be prompted by a pop-up module to complete the log in flow.

If you have already created your Access ID, go to the Profile tab and select "Add wallet." You have two options:

• Connect directly — the app will show wallets available in your browser

• Connect through a subnet — if you're an existing subnet contributor, select your subnet, log in with your wallet in the window that opens, and click approve

If you're already logged into that subnet in the same browser, you'll go straight to the approve step.

Can I connect Discord and email?

You can connect one of each. Email can't be changed once set. Discord can be disconnected and replaced with a different account at any time.

Do I need an account before I can earn?

No. Subnets can award you Subnet Points using your email, Discord ID, or wallet address before you've signed up. Those grants are held and applied to your account once you register or connect that wallet.

How the Reward System Works

BitRobot rewards work in two layers:

Subnet Points are awarded by individual subnets for the work you do there. They're instant and uncapped — each subnet decides what earns points and how many to grant.

Bolts are the network-wide reward. On each subnet's schedule, that period's Subnet Points convert into Bolts.

They are directly correlated: your share of a distribution period's Subnet Points equals your share of a distribution period's Bolts.

Example: if a subnet's allocation for a period is 500 Bolts and 10,000 Subnet Points were granted across all contributors, someone holding 4,000 points (40%) receives 200 Bolts.

The absolute number of Subnet Points doesn't matter — only your share of the period's total.

How do I earn more Bolts? Increase your share of a subnet's points during a distribution period. Your total depends on two things: how many Bolts that subnet is allocated, and how your contribution compares to everyone else's in the same period. Referring users and participating in high-Bolts earning campaigns by subnets will also accelerate your rewards earning. Stay updated on how Bolts vary by subnets by following BitRobot and the ecosystem.

Distribution Timing

When do my points and Bolts update?

• Subnet Points update in real time. View them on the subnet-specific page.

• Bolts update after each distribution period, and appear on your Access ID on app.bitrobot.ai and your profile across individual subnet pages.

How often does each subnet distribute? Every subnet sets its own schedule, always a factor of 30 days — 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, or 30. For example:

Each subnet's page shows its next scheduled conversion. Bolts will be disbursed on each distribution cadence between 2:00 - 2:15 PM UTC (3:00 - 3:15 PM UTC after Daylight Saving Time ends).

Do unconverted points carry over to the next period? No. Subnet Points compete for the allocation of the period they were earned in. Once a period converts, those Bolts are final, and the next period's points compete for the next allocation.

What is an epoch?

Epochs run every 30 days and organize points into defined competition periods with leaderboards. At each epoch boundary, the network can set new Bolt allocations and multiplier campaigns for subnets.

Epochs are separate from distribution periods — an epoch governs network-wide allocation and competition, while your subnet's distribution period determines when your Bolts actually land.

Legacy Points & Conversion

How were Legacy points converted to Bolts?

Legacy Bolts were allocated based on total number of users in each subnet, then divided proportionally among contributors.

Why don't I see SeeSaw Bolts? Bolts conversion for SeeSaw legacy points are partially underway. Currently conversion for SeeSaw only happens through Direct Private Key import.

2. Click "Export keys" and follow the steps to export the private key to your SeeSaw Solana wallet

3. Import your private key to another wallet provider, such as Phantom

4. Add the wallet on BitRobot like you would add a regular Phantom wallet

Importing the points via direct Privy login will be ready soon and we will notify the community when it is ready. When this feature is live, you will be able to see your Points convert to Bolts with just an email login. Note that not all SeeSaw points were taken in the Bolts conversion snapshot. SeeSaw was an experimental subnet. Bolts were awarded to the earliest wave of contributors whose work met the scoring criteria, so not all SeeSaw activity converted. 

Referrals

When do I receive referral Bolts?

At conversion. When a referred contributor's Subnet Points convert to Bolts, you automatically receive a 10% bonus in Bolts — calculated on their allocation from that conversion, and added on top rather than deducted from theirs.

Note this happens at conversion time, not when their points are first granted.

What if my referral's Bolts are revoked?

Your corresponding referral Bolts are adjusted to match.

Badges

When do I receive a badge?

As soon as you unlock the milestone. Epoch-based and campaign badges are awarded when that epoch or campaign ends.

Can badges be revoked?

Yes, if the Bolts behind a milestone are revoked and you no longer qualify. You can earn most badges back by meeting the milestone again — except epoch-specific badges, which are time-bound and permanently retired once that epoch closes.

What are badges for?

Badges recognize milestones and contributions across the network — a permanent record of what you've built and when.

I should qualify for a Badge, but I do not see it?

Some badges expire if not claimed (e.g. Day 1 badge). If you qualify for a Badge through a Discord Role, but do not see it on your profile, you may raise a ticket on Discord.

Corrections & Removals

Can points or Bolts be taken away?

Occasionally, yes.

• Unconverted Subnet Points can be revoked directly by a subnet — for example, to correct a duplicate or mistaken grant.

• Bolts that have already converted can only be reversed through a review process. If a reversal is approved, that period is rebalanced: the affected Bolts are clawed back, and any related referral bonuses are adjusted to match.

Bolts may also be removed if activity is identified as sybil or fraudulent.

Bolts and Tokens

What are Bolts worth?

Bolts are a record of your contribution to the network — not a financial instrument. They aren't tokens, cryptocurrency, or virtual assets. They can't be bought, sold, traded, or transferred, they have no cash value, and they don't represent equity or ownership in BitRobot.

What they do today is straightforward: they track the robotics work you've done across the network, determine your Access ID clearance level, and place you on ecosystem leaderboards.

Will Bolts convert into a token later?

We can't promise what Bolts will mean in the future. If BitRobot runs future ecosystem programs, contribution history may be one of the factors considered — but holding Bolts doesn't entitle you to any allocation, and there's no conversion rate between Bolts and anything else.

If such a program happens, we'll publish who's eligible and how it works, in advance.

Can I sell or transfer my Bolts?

No. Bolts are non-transferable and non-tradeable. They're tied to your Access ID and can't be moved to another account, sold, or exchanged.

Why earn Bolts at all, then?

Because they're the network's record of who showed up and what they contributed. Bolts determine your clearance level, unlock badges, and place you on leaderboards across the ecosystem — a permanent, verifiable account of your work in robotics R&D.
